My name is Esther. Welcome to my blog. Won’t you come in? Please have a seat. Would you like a cup of tea?
I am a writer. Stories, articles, essays, and even the occasional poem are among my favorite forms, and I am a voracious reader of all three. A lover of both art and science, I am especially inspired by the melding of the two. I have a passion for editing, from concepts to commas, and I welcome critiques and comments from all sides.
The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Writing, Literature, and Publishing I gained from Emerson College’s Honors Program, along with the internships I have served with Bostonian publishing houses, have given me opportunities for real-life experience. I am working on a book based on the life of someone who was dear to me, and over fifty pages and a lot of planning later, I am closer than ever to revealing the charismatic, talented, troubled liar that he was.
I am an avid student of the martial art of Tae Kwon Do, a practice that has taught me discipline, dedication, and confidence. The Tae Kwon Do credo, Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, and Indomitable Spirit is something by which I try to live my life every day.
Communication is my passion, and weaving stories out of the human experience is a challenge I relish. I want to prove that optimism can create beauty, that change is good, and that none of us is alone.
I hope you enjoy your stay.
